about

After declaration, I find myself in worship through surrendering. That's what this song is. This song was written days after a life-changing situation which involved a complete act of surrender. That's what this song is about. It is my personal worship through the act of absolute total submission towards God, recognizing the lies that I tell myself and declaring the truth that God has to say about me.

lyrics

I sing every week to whatever song plays
I sing of Your love, Your refuge and strength
I lie to myself, saying "this I believe"

And when the storms come, and I'm given your strength
I've lost all my joy and I long for Your face
I lie to myself, saying "this I believe"

Here I am, coming to worship You
I wish there was more I could give
Here I am, giving my all to You
So here is my life, here is my trust
Take everything

And when the storms come, and I'm robbed of Your joy
I've lost all my pride, as depression employs
I lie to myself, saying "this is who I am"

But you see the truth, and the beauty inside
You sent down Your love, in my heart it resides
You tell me the truth, saying "This is who I Am"

Here I am, coming to worship You
I wish there was more I could give
Here I am, giving my all to You
So here is my life, here is my trust
Take everything

Here I am, coming to worship You
I wish there was more I could give
Here I am, giving my all to You
So here is my life, here is my trust
Take everything
