This is what I want you to know about me. I never want to hide who I am to get you to like me, buy my music, or suggest it to a friend. I know I am broken. I know I am not perfect and I know I have a lot to learn and I will not stop growing until the day I die. I don't want you to think I'm any better than anyone else. I'm just your average college twenty-year-old. I'm nothing special. I mess up, I dig my own grave, I stick my foot in my mouth, and I need a Savior. I come to God, as I am. I know there is nothing I can hide from God, and yet, He loves me. I present myself to you As I Am.
lyrics
I'm standing at the edge
I cannot see the end
I'm trusting in my senses
I can hear a voice
Telling me it's time to jump.
I close my eyes and bite my tongue
There is no turning back
For I am bound by hands and feet
In a prison of my design
I see the key within my reach
I know freedom can be mine
I'm diving into Your arms
Afraid to touch the ground
I can't do this without You
Forgive me for I come as I am
My chains have been broken
I can finally see the light
As I step off of that ledge
My faith won't fail this time
I jump the cliff that's holding me
I'm homeward bound, I'm finally free
Forgetting fears to cling to hope
I'm finally letting go
I'm diving into Your arms
Afraid to touch the ground
I can't do this without You
Forgive me for I come as I am
I'm diving into Your arms
Afraid to touch the ground
I can't do this without You
Forgive me for I come as I am
